The National Science Foundation (NSF) is funding new research from Dr. Steven Leibling, professor of physics, for his project “Magnetized Mergers of Black Holes and Neutron Stars with LES and Neutrino Transport.” Leibling is a distinguished expert on black holes and winner of the prestigious Buchalter Cosmology Prize in Physics.
