Author Inspires Environmental Preservation in New Book

Alan Adaschik ’73 travels to breathtaking locations in Alaska and advocates for the preservation of our planet’s environment in his new book, An Alaskan Adventure: A Travelogue and Environmental Treatise. Adaschik’s third book chronicle’s his motor-home journey through the remote Alaskan landscape with his wife and two dogs while stressing the importance of conservation for future generations. Before becoming an author in retirement, Adaschik served as a fighter pilot in the Navy, a flight test conductor for the Grumman Aerospace Corporation, a financial analyst for the Singer Company, and a senior financial analyst for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft.
