The Global Service Institute at Long Island University will host former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert as part of its virtual speaker series Headliners of Service. The 12th Prime Minister of Israel will speak with Global Service Institute Chair and acclaimed journalist Rita Cosby. Olmert will discuss the importance of the US Presidential Election, the historic peace accords between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain, his time in the Israeli Defense Forces and in public office, as well as Israel’s mandatory national military service for its citizens.
