Oscar-winning director and long-time friend of LIU, along with Emmy-winning actor Keith David screened Clockers on the Brooklyn campus in honor of the film’s 30th anniversary. Following the film, they sat down for a Q&A with students in the MFA in writing and producing for television. David, one of the stars of the film, is an Artist-in-Residence for LIU‘s School of Film and Digital Media. Lee’s long history with LIU began when a dedicated screening room was created for him, enabling him to run dailies during the early years of his career.
