Jasmine Gonzalez, a junior in the Harriet Rothkopf Heilbrunn School of Nursing, was elected President of the Nursing Student Association of New York State. Gonzalez (center), pictured alongside faculty members Christina Wong (right) and Julie Elting (left), is the first LIU student to achieve this distinction. With over 50,000 members, the National Student Nursing Association fosters professional development among nursing students across the country.
