LIU once again topped the Northeast Conference’s 2021 Fall Scholar-Athlete Awards with two honorees: Men’s soccer’s Demetri Skoumbakis, who was also named the NEC Goalie of the Year in 2021, and volleyball’s Jovana Stekovic, a three-time NEC Player of the Week and repeat first team All-NEC selection. In total, 63 Sharks earned the highest honor of the Commissioner’s Honor Roll and 177 athletes were named to the Academic Honor Roll.
