Athreya, Director of Research and Head of Research and the Statistics Group of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, visited Long Island University to discuss the current outlook for the U.S. economy. Athreya is the author of Big Ideas in Macroeconomics (2013, MIT Press), and his writing has been published in a variety of academic journals.
