Ray Dalio ’71—founder of Bridgewater Associates, the world’s largest hedge fund,
and New York Times bestselling author—returned to Long Island University to
headline the Centennial CEO Speaker Series before a packed audience in the Tilles
Center for the Performing Arts. In a candid and compelling conversation, Dalio
reflected on his formative years at LIU, shared how disciplined reflection helped him grow through adversity, and offered timely insights on leading and succeeding in the age of artificial intelligence.

Before taking the stage, Dalio met with senior partners in LIU-iF, the University’s
student-management investment fund within the School of Business, engaging
directly with the next generation of financial leaders. He will return to campus in May to receive an honorary degree and deliver the keynote address at the Centennial
Commencement ceremony.

The Centennial CEO Speaker Series continues April 6 with Kristin Dolan ’15, Chief
Executive Officer of AMC Networks. Discover more about LIU’s Centennial
celebration and explore the full calendar of signature events at liu.edu/100.
