Shark Nation shined on the world stage during the Paris 2024 Olympics this summer. Decorated sprinter Brendon Rodney ’16 earned his first Gold medal after helping Team Canada win the 4×100 relay. Additionally, Mo Elsayed won Egypt’s first medal of the games when he taking home bronze in the individual men’s épée bracket. Elsayed is first-ever active LIU student-athlete to win an Olympic medal.
