Softball head coach Roy Kortmann reached the milestone of 800 career wins with the team’s victory over Stonehill. Kortmann began his career at LIU in 1994 and has turned the program into a conference powerhouse with 12 NEC regular-season titles, 11 NEC championships and 11 trips to the NCAA tournament. He and his staff have earned NEC Coaching Staff of the Year 10 times and coached four NCAA All-Americans. Kortmann is currently top-30 all time in NCAA softball career wins.
