Six members of the Brentwood community were named as the first recipients of the Long Island Mental Health Professional Expansion Project Scholarship. The collaboration between LIU and the Brentwood Union Free School District is a partnership aimed at increasing the number and diversity of school-based mental health service professionals for communities that require more access to mental health services.
