LIU’s cheerleading and dance teams joined forces with Finley the Shark to capture the Open Spirit Game Day division at the UCA/UDA national championships, beating St. John’s and South Dakota. It marked the first time the teams performed together as part of the new open program competition. Back on campus, the teams’ achievement was celebrated with a ring ceremony.
