Laila Sales ’17 was chosen as the new director of fine, performing and culinary arts for the West Hempstead School District. Sales has an impressive dance background performing with the Martha Graham School at the Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center, and she has been an arts educator for more than 20 years.
