Christy Gardner ’05 will be inducted into the Maine Sports Hall of Fame this fall in honor of her inspirational career as one of America’s leading International Paralympic Committee athletes. She was named the 2013 USA Hockey Disabled Athlete of the Year, won the International Cup gold medal in 2014 with the USA National Sled Hockey Team, and won the shot put and discus at the 2016 U.S. Paralympic Trials.
