Andre Marcano ’09, ’12 served as the flag bearer for Trinidad & Tobago during the opening ceremony of the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. A Northeast Conference champion sprinter and all-conference honoree during his time at LIU, Marcano is making his first Olympic appearance competing for his native country in the two-man bobsleigh race.
