France’s Highest Civilian Honor Awarded to Activist Alumna

Irene Natividad ’71 was granted the Legion d’Honneur by French Prime Minister Emmanuel Macron for her lifelong commitment to gender equality activism. Natividad joins other non-French nationals to receive the award including Eleanor Roosevelt, Bill and Melinda Gates, Sir Paul McCartney, Jesse Jackson, Toni Morrison, and General Dwight Eisenhower.
