PBS added The Long View, a documentary by Susan Zeig, chair of LIU’s Department of Communications and Film, to its Learning Media Collection. The documentary aired more than 700 times on PBS stations across the country during the month of September. The Long View chronicles two Oakland high schools and their community of students, families and teachers. It provides an up-close look at the strengths and challenges of urban schools and communities throughout the country.
