Men’s basketball earned its 20th win as Malachi Davis scored his 1,000th point as a Shark. LIU clinched the NEC regular season title on Feb. 19 — its seventh all-time — and holds the No. 1 seed in the NEC Championship, beginning with quarterfinal play on Wednesday, March 4. The Sharks will host at least a quarterfinal game for the second consecutive season. This marks the program’s fifth top-four finish in the past decade and its 11th NEC postseason appearance in the last 12 years.
