For the second semester in a row, LIU Model UN won the Outstanding Delegation award, the highest award given at the National Model UN competition in Washington D.C. The team competed for three days against other collegiate student teams from across the U.S. and internationally. In addition to the team award, LIU students won the Outstanding Delegation Award in the General Assembly 1 Committee, and the Outstanding Position Paper Award in the Security Council Committee.
